Permitting information for Special Events, Filming & Free Expression including permit applications
If you plan to hold an event or conduct filming on public property in Salt Lake City, you must first apply for a permit. The instructions and applications are available here in PDF form. Please be sure to read all accompanying instructions.
You can save the forms to your computer and fill them out electronically or just print out the file and fill it in by hand. Information on where to send the completed application can be found on the form itself. However you complete the forms, be sure to include a detailed site map.
