For the 33rd year, Salt Lake City will present one of the State's largest outdoor volleyball
tournament. This Doubles tournament is for players of all ages and
abilities and is sanctioned by UOVA (Utah Outdoor
Volleyball Association).

SLC's 4th of July
Celebration Sunday, July 4, 2010
Salt Lake City's annual 4th of July celebration will include, music, food, fun and
fireworks. It's a patriotic neighborhood party on Salt Lake City's
west-side with games for kids, cake
walks, a watermelon eating contest and a great sense of community.
In the evening there will be a DJ dance party leading up to the fireworks
finale.
Pioneer Park Picture Show Five
Fridays, starting July 30
Please join the SLC Film Center, the Downtown
Alliance and Salt Lake
City Corp. for 5 rocking weeks of "rock-umentaries." Since the SLC
Arts Council Twilight Concerts Series will be held in Pioneer Park this
summer, what a better way to keep rockin' than to show rock-themed
documentaries.
Each Friday a new film will be shown free of charge on a large inflatable screen. Movies start around 9pm, but come early for a great spot and to check out the sponsor and other booths.

Celebrate the City - Fisher Mansion

This community celebration, free to the public, will highlight the cultural
flavor of the Fisher Mansion neighborhood of 1893. Tours of the home,
located at 1206 West 200 South, will be featured. On the grounds,
festivities will include barbershop quartets, brass bands, arbor tours,
croquet and other period games, entertainment and activities, and booths
offering German-style fare: bratwurst, soft pretzels, popcorn and root beer.
Bring your family and friends for a memorable afternoon.

The Pioneer Park Picnic Series is a new addition to Salt Lake City’s great summer events. Close to downtown restaurants, hotels and businesses, Pioneer Park is a great place to enjoy a relaxing lunch while listening to local musicians.
The FREE music starts at 12noon and lasts until 1pm when we have a drawing for
free lunch!
